Cooper of Glasgow, believed to be of the Gorbals.


Eadington of Coldingham and thought to have moved into Northumberland


Edger of Dumfriesshire and who lived at some point at Headless Cross.  


France from Cumberland, but moved to Lanarkshire


Gillespie of Dumfriesshire, but yet to be traced with any success in that county.  


Jontin or Jonton - a child born in Scotland but known by first his mother’s maiden name of McCready and then by that of his stepfather.  


Lumsden of Dunbar - a labourer who moved to Northumberland with a son who died in France.


McCready - originally Irish, but who lived in Scotland in Victorian times.  The family eventually lived in Cumberland.  


Paisley of Gretna


Purdy oof Kirkcudbright, according to his maritime records.
